We would like to wish all our students & friends a very happy New Year!
2014 has been a great year for kickboxing and martial arts but 2015 will be even better! Every year people make new years resolutions mostly about weight loss because of inevitable over indulgence at Christmas! The number of new members at gyms increase only to fall again in February because of boredom or lack of motivation.
There is no better time to join a martial arts class there are many benefits, not just weight loss including –
Martial Arts are a great way for improving self confidence This happens through two areas, as students progress through the belt syllabus their belief and confidence grows. Also by learning to defend themselves they feel more secure which helps greatly improves self confidence.
Martial arts are a great way to improve your fitness, working every muscle in your body. Punching is great for your arms, back and shoulders. Kicking is great for toning and strengthening the back and front of your legs.
We instil the attitude of knowing what to do and going right ahead and doing it without being told. It’s just like a muscle, the more it’s used the bigger it gets.
Improve other sports
We work a lot on developing speed, power, timing, flexibility & co-ordination in our classes. These skills are important in any sport.
Whatever you want to achieve, whether you are an existing student that wants to push yourself even further or somebody that has never done a martial art before we will help you achieve your goals in 2015
